Each Monday, Curio412 will be highlighting good news of service and innovation in our communities both near and far!
This week we are highlighting the Springs Historical Society/Springs Folk Festival. A non-profit organization founded in 1957, the Springs Historical Society sponsors the Springs Folk Festival, Farmers' Market, Museum, Alta Schrock Nature Trail, Public Programs, and annually publishes the Casselman Chronicle, a historical and genealogical journal. While the Springs Historical Society cancelled their 2020 Springs Folk Festival, even COVID couldn't keep them from their annual tradition of homemade sauerkraut!
Springs Folk Festival Master Sauerkraut Makers will be making Sauerkraut to help support the Springs Historical Society due to the cancellation of the 2020 Festival. Sauerkraut will be available at the Springs Farmers’ Market Sept. 19th, 26th, and Oct. 3rd – 8:00 am – 1:00 pm
